Withdrawal Policy
Information on the right of withdrawal for consumers.
Last modified: October 28, 2026
If you are a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal when you buy a plan or a credit pack from us. A consumer is any natural person who concludes a contract for purposes that are mainly outside their trade, business or profession. Businesses have no right of withdrawal.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Krause Dynamics & Innovations, owner Frederik Leonard Krause, Schulte-Rentrop-Weg 69, 45968 Gladbeck, Germany, email: [email protected]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. You can also use the "Withdraw from contract" function in the footer of our website.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal
For a contract for the supply of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, your right of withdrawal expires once we have begun performing the contract, after you have expressly consented that we begin before the end of the withdrawal period, you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract (Section 356(5) of the German Civil Code, BGB).
For a contract for the provision of services, your right of withdrawal expires once we have provided the service in full, if you expressly requested before the start that we begin, and you acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once we have fully performed the contract (Section 356(4) BGB).
What this means at Videoslash
- At checkout we ask whether we should start right away, and you confirm that you know about the consequences for your right of withdrawal. Without this request we do not start before the withdrawal period ends.
- No credits used: If you withdraw within 14 days and have not yet used any credits from the purchase, we refund the full amount.
- Credits used: Credits you use are spent on generating digital content. For content that has already been generated, the right of withdrawal has expired. For the rest of the subscription period you owe proportional compensation as described above, and we refund any remaining amount.
- Credits that were given back after a failed generation count as unused.
Our Refunds and Cancellation page explains further refunds we grant voluntarily, for example for a first purchase. Your statutory rights are not affected.
