Cookie Policy
How Videoslash uses cookies and similar technologies, and how to control them.
Last modified: October 26, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Krause Dynamics & Innovations, doing business as Videoslash ("Videoslash," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies in connection with the videoslash.com website and any other website or application that we own or control and which posts or links to this Cookie Policy (collectively, the "Sites").
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They serve different purposes, like letting you navigate between pages efficiently, keeping you signed in, remembering your settings, and generally improving your browsing experience. Our Sites may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them).
There are two broad categories: (1) first-party cookies, served directly by us to your device, and (2) third-party cookies, which are served by service providers on our Sites and can be used by them to recognize your device.
2. What Types of Cookies Do We Use?
Essential. These cookies are necessary for the technical operation of our Sites and are always on. They include:
- Authentication and session cookies that sign you in and keep you signed in.
- Security and fraud-prevention cookies.
- Payment cookies set by Stripe during checkout (
__stripe_mid, which lasts up to one year, and__stripe_sid, which lasts 30 minutes). - Cookies that remember your own settings, such as your language and your cookie choices.
The Sites cannot function without them. You can block them in your browser, but parts of the Sites will stop working. We set them on the basis of Section 25(2) of the German TDDDG and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, so they do not need your consent.
Analytics. We do not currently use analytics cookies or similar tracking tools on our Sites.
Marketing and affiliate tracking. We set these only if you accept them in our cookie banner (Section 25(1) TDDDG, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR):
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) on our checkout pages, to measure whether our ads lead to purchases (
_fbp, up to 90 days). Meta may transfer data to the USA. - Tolt (Tolt, Inc., USA), which runs our affiliate program. When you arrive through a partner's link, it remembers that partner so they can be credited if you subscribe (
tolt_referral, for the referral period of the program).
If you decline, neither of these is set and nothing is stored on your device. When you arrive through a partner's link, our server still tells Tolt about that visit (the partner code and the page, without your IP address). If you sign up or buy during the same visit, we note the partner on your account so they are credited. This needs no cookie; see "Affiliate program" in our Privacy Policy.
3. Other Technologies
Browser web storage. We may use browser web storage (such as localStorage) for the same purposes as essential cookies, for example to keep your session working. Browser web storage can hold more data than cookies. Your web browser may provide functionality to clear it.
4. Your Choices
Cookie settings. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent. For all other cookies we show a cookie banner where "Reject all" is as easy as "Accept all", and you can change or withdraw your decision at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page.
Blocking cookies in your browser. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser settings. If you do not accept our essential cookies, you may experience some inconvenience, for example you may need to log in every time you visit and checkout may not work.
Blocking images and clear GIFs. Most browsers and devices allow you to prevent images from loading. Follow the instructions in your browser or device settings.
For more information about how we collect, use and share your information, see our Privacy Policy.
5. Changes
Information about the cookies we use may be updated from time to time, so please check back regularly for any changes.
