VideoSlash

Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to make videos with Videoslash, including people who use assistive technology.

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet had a full accessibility audit, and we do not meet all of it. This page says what we know today and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

Where we are

We have not completed a full audit of videoslash.com yet. We take every report seriously and fix barriers as we find them, starting with the ones that stop people from using the product.

Known gaps

These are problems we know about or expect, and we are working on them.

  • The video editor timeline and some canvas tools may depend on dragging with a mouse or touch.
  • Images, videos and audio you generate have no text description, captions or transcript unless you add one.
  • Checkout and payment pages are run by Stripe. Their accessibility is set by Stripe.
  • We have not yet checked every page for color contrast, keyboard use and screen reader support.

Report a problem

Email [email protected] with "Accessibility" in the subject. It helps to tell us:

  • The page address, or what you were trying to do.
  • What went wrong.
  • The browser and any assistive technology you use, such as a screen reader or voice control.

A person reads every report and replies by email. If something blocks you from using a feature you pay for, say so, and we will try to help you get it done another way while we fix it.
